About Orlando Andrews, MSLC, CARC, CPRS
Founder & CEO, Recovery Matters™
Behavioral Health Entrepreneur · Addiction Educator · Systems Strategist
I work at the intersection of mental health, addiction recovery, and long-term care innovation, designing systems that extend care beyond short-term stabilization and into durable, real-world recovery.
A graduate of Northwestern University, I bring more than a decade of experience across behavioral health, substance use recovery, and trauma-informed care. My work focuses on expanding access to outcomes-driven recovery models—grounded in neuroscience, harm reduction, and long-term sustainability.
As Founder and CEO of Recovery Matters™, I developed one of the first nationwide virtual recovery systems intentionally designed for long-term support, accountability, and measurable outcomes. Our programs serve individuals, organizations, and treatment providers—bridging the persistent gap between episodic care and lifelong healing.
Today, my work centers on system-level infrastructure.
I am leading an initiative that helps treatment providers launch onsite retail and specialty micro-pharmacies, strengthening continuity of care while creating sustainable, clinically aligned pathways for alumni engagement and long-term recovery support.
If you’re a treatment center looking to extend care beyond 30, 60, or 90 days—or a MAT provider or nonprofit program navigating the structural shifts ahead under the Big Beautiful Bill—this work is designed for you.

Recent Podcast on My Recovery Journey and Launching the Recovery Matters Program

I am a person in long-term recovery.
My sobriety date is January 6, 2010 — and everything I do is shaped by that journey.
Recovery isn’t just part of my story. It’s the lens through which I see the world, build programs, and support others.
Over the years, I’ve developed a comprehensive Addiction and Emotional Sobriety System — designed to help individuals rebuild Recovery Capital, reclaim their lives, and pursue personal healing on their own terms.
More than a program, it’s a pathway back to the authentic self — grounded in neuroscience, lived experience, and a deep commitment to spiritual reconnection.
Because recovery isn’t just about abstinence — it’s about becoming whole again.
And I’m here to walk with people as they do just that.
